MICRO-RESIDENCIA ONLINE
DEADLINE: 08.02.2021

#2 micro residence_10 days
OPEN CALLS_BERLIN
DEADLINE:10.08.2021
FlussLab 2021 proposes two micro residences.
Duration of the residency: 10 days
Residency period: Option A: from 21.09.2021 to 30.09.2021
Option B: from 05.10.2021 to 14.10.2021
Interdisciplinary micro residence as a platform for traditional practices and innovation processes.
We intend to generate an extraordinary interdisciplinary space self regulated by the participants focusing on the experiences in situ.
During the 10 days residency, common and communal contexts are promoted in which the explorations, processes and results emerge through the interactions of the participants.
In this context, the experience itself is contrasted with the technical and cultural resources that the individual participants share with the community in residency.
Based on a tentative schedule proposed by the organizers, the activities, as well as the goals of the encounter, are defined together with the attendants during the event.
The premise is to share a personal creative process and to be open to receive what the other participants and the context have to offer interchanging in a collaborative and transformative way.
By the end of the encounter we aim to create interdisciplinary pieces (or processes) that will be exhibited in situ (before the residency closing day), as well as in the the TopLab gallery in the Neukölln.
The micro-residency is a type of format that seeks significant results in a short period. In this way it becomes a space for informal knowledge exchange and inspiration, between the resident and the host organization and as well between the residents & the local scene.
